Clube da Conversa (B1-B2)

Why you should take part :

You have worked this far in your Portuguese course and now it is time to meet up and put into practice all your skills.

Maybe you feel you need more conversation practice with the help of a teacher who will oversee and mediate the session helping you to adjust your language when necessary.

This session is offered monthly and it is up to you to join every session - we hope you do!

How the session is organised:

You won’t be caught by surprise!

Before each session, you will receive a pre-task sheet via email containing everything you should know to help you make the most of your session.  From vocabulary support to more in-depth background reading, should you need to brush up your knowledge.

During the session, you won’t be interrupted as you speak - we don’t like that! - but at certain intervals, the teacher will gently highlight the most relevant ‘mistakes’ made by the group and offer corrections.

Three easy steps to join!

You can join this virtual workshop using your laptop/desktop or tablet and even your mobile phone!

1. Choose your preferred workshop and purchase a ticket.

2. You don’t need to download any App or software - A few days before the workshop takes place, you will receive a link via email that will take you directly to the ZOOM room.

3. On the day of the workshop, click the link you received  5 minutes before the event commences and that’s all!

Students are free to choose whether they want to participate in the speaking exercises during the session or if they prefer to just attend the session as an observer.   Those who want to make the most of the session, must ensure their devices have a microphone and camera.  Likewise, should a student prefer not to open their camera and microphone, this is absolutely not a problem.
