Portuguese GCSE - Prepare for the Speaking Component

Note:  because of the nature of this workshop, only 6 participants are allowed in the session. 

Why you should take part :

This workshop brings everything you need to know to be well-prepared for the Speaking Component of the Portuguese GCSE examination.

You will practise your presentation and receive professional feedback from a trained teacher with extensive experience in conducting the Portuguese GCSE Speaking element for school pupils.

Moreover, you will get to explore the most relevant themes for the Speaking component via role-plays and other speaking tasks that are part of the examination.

How the session is organised:

1. The teacher will explain what makes the Speaking component in detail and what is expected from the candidates.
2. Next, you will be invited to speak your presentation and will be given detailed feedback.
3. The teacher will then prompt the participants to take part in the role-play tasks, exploring the most relevant themes of the examination.

1. Choose your preferred workshop and purchase a ticket.
2. You don’t need to download any App or software - A few days before the workshop takes place, you will receive a link via email that will take you directly to the ZOOM room.
3. On the day of the workshop, click the link you received  5 minutes before the event commences and that’s all!

Students are free to choose whether they want to participate in the speaking exercises during the session or if they prefer to just attend the session as an observer.   Those who want to make the most of the session, must ensure their devices have a microphone and camera.  Likewise, should a student prefer not to open their camera and microphone, this is absolutely not a problem.
